Crisp & cool like Grandma's sheets from my childhood.

I did a ton of research before I bought these sheets. If your looking for wrinkle free sheet, NO organic 100% cotton percale sheets are wrinkle free. If they are not wrinkled reed what they are made of. I make my bed nice every day, but I don't care that they are wrinkled. They are soft right out of the pack, but I did wash them. If you will wash them on cool & dry on low or medium. They will last forever. If you get cold easy you may want to save them as your summer sheets.

Crisp Percale

Bought the white. Have been looking for crisp sheets and struck out until now. Feels like real percale. While they're still a little stiff now with only one wash, percale gets softer while maintaining the crisp factor, so I expect mine to do the same. They seemed a little thin initially but when I lay between them, it feels like heavier, crisp sheets. A perfect combination!

No complaints so I bought them again

I bought these based on the reviews. I was a touch nervous about buying sheets I hadn't actually felt. These are percale cotton - crisp and cool. For my personal taste, they could be crisper. Very nice, though.The pillowcases are huge. They're for king-size pillows - not standard.Percale wrinkles. Doesn't matter to me. I love the crispness of it.And yes, a bizarre smell when I opened them but no trace after washing. It's probably from the cardboard box they come packaged in.
