Ortho® Home Defense® Insect Killer for Indoor & Perimeter2 kills common household bugs such as ants, beetles, centipedes, cockroaches, crickets, fleas, flies, millipedes, mosquitoes, moths, spiders, stink bugs, ticks, termites, periodical cicadas and more (as listed). This insect killer creates a bug barrier for up to 12 months protection against ants, roaches and spiders indoors on non-porous surfaces. In addition, the Invisi-Shield Technology formula gives off no fumes, dries clear and dries fast. Use this pest control product anytime as a preventative treatment or after you see evidence of insect activity for long lasting-control. Apply indoors in kitchens and bathrooms or around doors and windows, and outdoors to the foundation perimeters, patios, decks, garages and wherever insects are a recurring problem. For indoor surfaces, hold sprayer 12 inches from surface being sprayed and apply a 4-inch wide band, or use a 12-inch wide band when applying to a home perimeter. Outdoor Applications Including Hard Surfaces: All outdoor applications must be limited to spot or crack-and-crevice treatments only, except for the following permitted uses: 1. Treatment to soil or vegetation around structures; 2. Application to building foundations, up to a maximum height of 3 feet. Other than applications to building foundations, all outdoor applications to hard surfaces such as sidewalks, driveways, patios, porches and structural surfaces (e.g., windows, doors, and eaves) are limited to spot and crack-and-crevice applications only. Application is prohibited directly into sewers or drains, or to any area like a gutter where drainage to sewers, storm drains, water bodies, or aquatic habitat can occur. Do not allow the product to enter any drain during or after application. Application to Horizontal Hard Surfaces: To help prevent product from running off into sewers, storm drains, and curbside gutters, do not treat hard flat surfaces (e.g., driveways, sidewalks) unless the surface is protected from rainfall and spray from sprinklers. Flip up spout until fully upright. Turn sprayer nozzle to desired spray. Squeeze trigger repeatedly to spray. Finish: Turn sprayer nozzle to off. Do not disconnect hose connector from spout. Place sprayer back into holster. When to Apply: Use anytime as a preventative treatment or after you see evidence of insect activity for long-lasting control. Before you Apply: Indoor Surfaces: Cover or remove exposed food including pet food. Cover all food processing surfaces and utensils. Old bedding of pets should be removed and replaced with clean, fresh bedding after treatment of pet area. This stuff is a life saver. My mobile home has little cracks especially in my bedroom and was not properly sealed and this stuff helps keeps ants at bay and no I don’t eat in my room but I read that ants are attracted to water sources and sweet smells which would be my perfumes.

I use the Ortho Home Defense regularly inside and outside. I don't have roaches and I use the standard Ortho Home Defense that kills most all insects. I decided to buy this particular product because the price is good and I do want to make sure there is no ants entering come Spring.

I just barely barely squirted tiny tiny bit of it and oh my goodness it works great so when I get done with a bunch of throwing away and reorganizing of my stuff I moved to a smaller place and I have about half my stuff I need to throw away when I get all done doing that and I'm down to much smaller mouth stuff then I'm just going to paint the whole inside of this place and get it vacuum cleaner and get ready to suck them up but it does definitely work well and I like that I don't like those spiders and stuff and look critters and it's an apartment I live in now so got to spray everything cuz all the neighbors stuff will come under the baseboards where they don't put caulking and just run over to your house and run back to their house so we're going to nip that in the bud or spray and kill everything let everything know that wants to come in here and live and it ain't going to work but it's very good product and the price is nice.
