I'm not going to write some glowing, gushy review -- This is a cheap single-serve drip coffee maker. It's not outstanding quality, it doesn't look better than any other coffee maker on the market, and it's not covered in gold. However, for the purchase price, it performs its one task quite well and I'm very satisfied with the product. I wanted a single-serve machine because I normally drink only one 'cup' (about 24oz) of coffee a day so I don't need one that can make 10 or 12 cups -- that's just overkill. But, I also wanted one with a clock on it so that I could add the water the night before, set it for my wake-up time, and the water would be hot and waiting for me. I couldn't believe how hard it was to find such a model! PROS: The included cup is perfect for filling the reservoir without spilling water everywhere. I haven't explicitly timed the procedure, but it runs through the cycle pretty quick. The clock and timer work as expected. CONS: (as others have noted) The clock display is a brilliant blue color, and lights up the entire kitchen area across from where it's placed. In my case, this is in direct line-of-sight of my bed (studio apartment). Not ideal. It would be nice if there were either a dimmer button or a simple on/off switch for the display. All in all, though, happy with the purchase and would recommend it to others.
