I have worked out with many smith machines, and this one is excellent for my home gym. It comes in three boxes and takes a few hours to assemble. Take your time installing the cable apparatus, because this will be imperative when it comes to functionality. Watching the installation video will help you with the cable installation. I've read quite a few negative reviews for this smith machine and was concerned when ordering it, but, considering the price point, I took a chance. I couldn't be happier.
