Perfect for crossing glaciers in Iceland! I won't wear anything except Merrels for good reasons! Took my new hikers on a week long trip to Iceland with a running group. After a 5-10k run each morning we explored other areas. Waterfalls, the highlands and hiking on a glacier. Stream crossing, crampon wearing, trail scrambling. Merrels do it all!

Perfect First Pair of Hiking Boots

This was my first ever pair of hiking boots and I could not be happier! I bought these to wear to Olympic National Park and had no issues whatsoever. Very comfortable and did not need breaking in at all. The waterproof passed the test of standing streams and braving the rainfall - dry feet at the end of every day! I was also very happy with the color - I felt both stylish and practical. The plan is to take these on many more hiking trips, and once I wear these out, I'll buy another pair!

Great hiking boots

I bought these after reading multiple reviews from various sources, yup I'm a review nerd lol. Delivery was quick and the hiking boots are very comfortable right out of the box. Some said (and even the site recommended) sizing up but I went with my normal size and my feet felt fine. I didn't break them in since like I said, comfortable right out of the box. I wore these nonstop for 8 days on lots of hiking trails over various terrain and had zero issues. Excellent grip on dirt, sand, water, and granite rock. No slipping or feeling like I couldn't get where I needed. All in all, a great solid product that I can confidently recommend to others.
