the ASRock Radeon 6600 Challenger D is a good graphics card for what it is. it has 8GB of Video RAM. bought one as a gift for a friend so he could game on Linux. it worked great because Linux has drivers for this graphics card already part of the mainline Kernal. no driver installation necessary (on Linux). I like it so much I bought for myself. while it may struggle to play the most Intensive graphic demands of the most demanding AAA game titles, there is way more to computer games than just those monstrosities. also, the capabilities of this GPU can be stretched by capping the resolution at 1080p or lower. the larger the resolution, the more video ram is necessary. by capping the resolution, you can go pretty far with this GPU. while it's no RTX 5080, it is by no means useless. a great affordable GPU in a world of crazy expensive graphics cards. if you know what you're doing and how to tailor game settings to suit it, odds are, this GPU can get the job done.
