Easy to use and does what it says!

This thing is so cool! As a mom of 6, I am always looking for ways to keep extra food fresh while taking up as little space as possible. As you can see by my photos, I am new to vacuum sealing. It was literally so easy to use even as a first timer! It sealed well with everything I sealed with it. I wanted to try both a dry seal and a moist seal before reviewing and let me tell you- both were superb! This is a must have for any home!

Nice size, convenient features, and a great addition to my kitchen!

I really like the design of this vacuum sealer. It's a nice size for my kitchen and doesn't take up too much storage space. I like that it has different settings for sealing food and comes with an accessory attachment. I'm looking forward to using it for storing meat and other foods in the freezer to help reduce food waste. So far, I like how simple the controls look and the overall quality.

Great value, lots of sealing options.

I am very satisfied with this Mainstays sealer and I hope it continues to work as well as it did today for a long time. It has a quick start guide but read the manual as the quick start guide does not tell you to press until you hear a click in order to close the sealer. After reading the instruction manual I used it to dry seal a meatloaf that I had frozen in plastic wrap yesterday after my Seal-a-Meal sealer stopped working. It was easy to seal one end of the bag and then dry vacuum seal the other end. The suction seems to be very powerful and its much much quieter than my old sealer. I already have a roll of bags but it's nice that a roll of bags was included in the sealer. I really like that the sealer has a cutter in it (no more scissors!!). It uses more counter space but it' worth it. It also has attachments if you use jars or zip lock bags for sealing. Another feature that I'm going to enjoy using is the pulse vac which will allow me to freeze extra rolls without mashing them. For all of the features this vacuum sealer has, it is very affordable. Mainstays merchandise has performed very well for me and I'm hoping to stay just as pleased with this purchase.
