These didn't work for me, but could work for you depending on your preferences. I didn't get to test these for period purposes because at 5'5" 110 lbs, the size Small was a bit too big on me. The waistband has elastic and was tight enough, but everywhere else doesn't seem to have elastic and therefore was gappy. I prefer full coverage underwear but these were rather cheeky in the back and, again, gappy at the front. I'm not really sure how this low of coverage would work for period underwear honestly. The lining didn't feel too thick at all - I definitely wouldn't hesitate to use the Super for everyday wear. But while the black padded area comes high enough in the back, it seems like it's shorter on the front so blood would probably leak there.
