Very good value

Just a quick note, this a Gen4 SSD, not Gen5 as it is written in the description. Other than that, this was a very good deal on a very reputable SSD brand. If you compare the read/write speeds with other similar brands, you'll find the WD brand is the best value. Also of note, this SSD does not seem to heat up as much as my previous SSD's of similar speed. So far, I haven't seen the need to install a heatsink with this one, but I will continue monitoring the temps in the future. Would definitely recommend this SSD for your next upgrade.

Good System Upgrade

My aging HP Pavilion 595-p0084 had a 128GB SSD for system drive. I was able to replace the SSD on that desktop without any trouble. I'm also very pleased by how much faster my desktop is performing. You do have to have the right tools and be fairly knowledgeable to clone the system and install the SSD, but everything you need to know is available online.
