I bought this thing for like thirty five dollars, 'regularly' $160. It's worth about thirty five dollars. Strengths are: cool light show and long battery life. You can easily switch the light show off. Weaknesses are: mediocre sound quality and a kind of unwieldy form factor, which is basically a tube with a speaker at each end. Anyhow, if you are looking for a decent speaker for thirty five or so dollars, this is your speaker. If you listen to music slighly critically, I'd look elsewhere. Cheers!

I bought this one on sale so I can't speak for the retail value, but for what I paid for it, it qas definitely worth it. Good sound quality, volume, and bass. There are definitely better options but for much more than I paid for this. Tried using this at a pool party, and it was able to get the job done. Don't expect big booming bass, but this is definitely better than putting your phone in a cup.
