I don't know what I expected. I haven't even listened to music in quite a while. I have been hospitalized all but 22 days this year. I am finally home! Amazon had a special half off on the price if this speaker. I didn't read a lot of the Specifications and that was not too good. When I charged it up and turned it over to my playlist if songs I loved in the 60's, 70's and 80's I was truly BLOWN AWAY! Who said a 75 yr old can't rock it out while stuck in a wheelchair. Yes I did! This speaker has all the Bass anyone would want packed into that small cylinder. It shook my portable table!! Truth! I would highly recommend this sound machine. It ties into my chair and goes where I go; all three rooms! LOL I LOVE having such great sound at my beck and call!
