This soft, stretchable fabric is designed to be quiet and stay in place all night, even with movement in the bed. It will also protect your mattress from sweat, liquid spills, stains, and urine from humans and pets because it’s 100% waterproof. The elasticized construction fits mattresses up to 17" deep and is available in sizes Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King and California King.

Cooling is a plus
I appreciate that it doesn't have the plastic crunchy sound when moving around and it doesn't hold heat. Florida is not the place to be hot at night. I spilled a drink one night and decided I needed a protector for the mattress and this worked out great.
