I find that using a DVD player is barely usable. But my nephew is still into them and has a large number of machines and movies. I bought his unit for him, so I bought 2 in case there was an issue with one. I like streaming movies and concerts. and sports. So, I see a lot and listen to a lot of music. The unit works fine for him and what he needs

Inexpensive player.

It's OK for the money but, It isn't all that. The remote signal isn't very strong. Has to be perfectly aligned to work. Has too many buttons. Half of them don't work. Some of the CD's start on main screen and others start on episodes. I guess for 40 bucks and free shipping I can deal with it's faults. Hope this helps you to decide.

It serves its purpose. Both the player and the remote are really lightweight, which is a negative in my opinion. It seems low quality, like it would break easily. So I'm extra careful with it. You really have to use two hands in order to press the buttons. On the player, I wish the buttons were any other color. They are black against black so it's really hard to see which buttons are for which function. I also wish this player had a sleep timer or automatic shut off function.
