Great for music, small size great for my setup

I bought this to start playing my old CD collection on a new small import tube amp. Its doing great for that purpose. The menu system (internal to the CD player) could use a update, but it works. I had to turn on the digital sound output (default was off). The digital output sounds quite a bit better than the RCA outputs. I've had this about 2 months, working just fine. Remote layout could be better, it it works well also. This unit also has volume control ! I definitely like that. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Great unit but instructions and the remote are extremely difficult to follow. Figured out three buttons on the remote but the other 25 or so are a mystery and the instructions are so small you can hardly read them. But the other three buttons have got a picture going on and enjoying some movies.

I am so happy I disregarded some of the reviews I had read on this player and purchased it at such a great price. It's small which I prefer, and has a remote with alot of options. I am learning. All the things this player can do. I was not able to get the remote open for the batteries so I ended up breaking it. I just put batteries in, and taped it up and went on with my day. I was just looking for a bedroom dvd player to replace an ancient one I had. This works great and you electronic geeks will see all the added pluses to this one. The only thing I noticed with one of my discs was if I fast reverse to go back then hit play it has the mouth not lining up with the words. But I stopped it then hit play again and it was fine.
