Great Value Pitted Dark Sweet Cherries, 16 oz (Frozen)

My go-to breakfast is frozen cherries over plain Greek yogurt, sprinkled with walnuts -- or granola if I'm feeling indulgent. I try to keep these in my freezer at all times, not just for breakfast but for smoothies or general snacking. I will admit, I was hesitant to try this brand. My dad was a big fan, but he was also extremely frugal and did not mind sacrificing quality to save a few bucks. But he died last year, leaving a lot of Great Value frozen foods behind. Rather than let them go to waste, I started eating them, and it's when I learned that Great Value stuff is actually really good -- these cherries especially. They are uniformly sweet, ripe, and dark red-- though size can vary, as can juice content. (Some bags have more cherry juice than others.) Every once in awhile, I get a pit, but that's to be expected with cherries. These offer a good value for money, and Walmart has them in stock year-round. I've probably bought at least 100 of these bags, and if I get sick of frozen cherries, it won't be because of the product quality. Happy to give it a 5 star review

I love these cherries. I was gifted at a ninja creami at Christmas time but I'm also on a weight loss journey so I buy the yogurt and freeze it and then I freeze these cherries and put them in the yogurt and they are delicious. it tastes decadent while it's full of protein and it has a natural sweetness to it if you need more sweetener you can add a little packet of equal or you can put some honey or agave in it. cherries have tons of iron in them and that's good for us as women. I mean it's good for everybody but it's a good one to add plus it has all that protein in the yogurt. and it's satisfies the sweet tooth.
