I've only just installed it, but, so far-so good. It does what it's advertised to do…the interconnection worked as advertised. The only downside -and I'm hoping it's not going to be an issue- it doesn't have a specific certification that is supposedly required in Los Angeles. CSFM California State Fire Marshall Getting ready to sell the property, so I'll find out soon enough if it's really a thing or not. The reason I selected this particular product is because my existing locations (electric boxes) didn't have the third wire -which would allow for the mandatory interconnectivity required by current code. So, with this product, I simply covered up the existing elec box with this battery operated product.

The detectors look good and installed easily. Setting up the wireless connection between all of them was a piece of cake and then testing the connections was easy. We have a basement with an outside entry. These sensors allowed us to install a smoke/CO detector in our basement that would alert us upstairs.
