The sippy-straw lid takes some getting used to, but eventually it works out. And until it does you can just yank the straw, tilt it back, and drink like a normal canteen. Solid as a rock, the wide lid accepts ice easily and also makes cleaning much simpler, can even get a brush down in there to give it a good scrubbing. Insulations is good, keeps fluid hot or cold for hours. Al in all a great bottle.
