This kit allows for multiple receivers to be connected to one XM Radio antenna. This kit, when used with the appropriate antenna, can extend each cable run up to 125 additional feet. Multiple amplifiers (one for each 125 foot segment) can be used to make longer cables. This kit provides the flexibility to allow the installer to cut RG-6 cable to custom lengths and to use plenum rated RG-6 cable where fire codes require. A 3 foot length of small diameter coaxial cable is supplied with SMB plugs to mate with the radio and an S-band rated line amp. This is the easiest way to connect 1 antenna to 2 receivers regardless of how far away they are from one another.
NOTE: This item also works with Sirius Satellite Radio. Applications include home, commercial and Recreational Vehicle

This amplified splitter is optimized for use with all satellite radio systems and allows you to take a single antenna and provide reception to 2 different receivers. It includes the adapters, cables and accessories to permit operation of multiple (up to two) satellite radios from a single antenna. This signal splitter allows the connection of two satellite radios to a single antenna. It has internal diodes that pass DC voltage (antenna 5 VDC power) with less than 0.5 VDC of loss from the radio to the splitter's input port to provide power to the antenna from any radio connected to the outputs. Because of its' internal amplifier (with more than 10 dB net gain), the loss of the splitter is overcome and up to 90 feet of RG-6 cable can be attached to any radio output port.
