Needs Work

The bells are not polished brass. They are a rough, dark metal with cheap gold paint on them. Whoever assembled mine was touching it while the paint was wet, which took the paint off in fingerprints on most of the bells. There is rust on a few spots. Some of the metal rings that connect the bells to the frame are bent and twisted so the bells don't hang properly. It's a thick, solid metal so you can't just straighten them out with pliers. The sound is really nice. The frame is correct. I'm going to paint the bells instead of returning it because I don't think a replacement will be any better and I do like the design and the sound.
