I'm retired and care for my elderly mum who has dementia. I'm asked at least a dozen times a day "what is today?"... and this clock is in the room where she spends most of her time. That question hasn't escaped her lips since I installed it. Knowing what day it is, is very important to folks who no longer work and have very little routine. Display is large and easy to read. By far the best gift I ever bought myself.

I love the adjustable dimming feature for the numbers. Don't like too much light in the room at night--and my cat likes it too! My old large number clock started flickering so it went to the permanent file. This new clock has blue numbers instead of red, but they're easy for me to see, even in total darkness.
