We bought this for Christmas and then talked my sister into getting a pink one for her daughter who is the same age as our son. It was easy to put together and has been great for my 5 yr old to start on. The battery seems to lasts a good amount of time before having to recharge. I like that it has two speeds though we moved beyond low speed after the second day! Age appropriate and has been so fun and so far was worth the price.
