Mead Spiral Notebook, 1 Subject, Wide Ruled, 8 1/2" x 11", Blue (930031FD-WMT)

Quality spiral book that I anticipate will last the entire school year intact. If your child is rough with their books, this one is made with them in mind. It would be pretty difficult to tear the front or back off one of these books. I just want to point out that they are I guess the standard size for spiral books. Which means it is slightly smaller than printer paper. So if your child is given a printed packet it will not fit in this paper folder. Ofcourse they could always try to fold it, but to avoid creased school work. I just ordered her some extra folders to keep with each of her books. Even though I have Pen Gear spiral books that are almost identical, except they are slightly larger so the folder included can be used for any packets. She opted for these because she is obsessed with the Mead colors. I believe this particular book is a shade of azure blue, probably closest to a cerulean blue. Pages aren't too thin, they tear out easily. The back cardboard is nice and thick for support. For the price, you just can't beat the quality of Mead.
