This is my 6th pair of Speedcross over the last 10 years, so I might be a tad biased but just hope they don't stop making these! I use them for both running and hiking - have worn these on multi day Sierra hikes where I often encounter steep rock descents. I feel a bit like Spider-Man when I'm causally walking down a boulder while my trail mates are cautiously inching along. Solid and trustworthy. Get you some.

I just walked el camino de santiago in Spain with them for a week and they held up great. I've been wearing the speedcross for years for dog walks, little hikes (I wear boots for more ankle supports for most hiking). I can't say enough good things about this shoe.

I use speedcrosses for all my daily hiking + few day backpacking trips. The shoes are light but very capable and it works perfectly for what I'm looking for in a good hiking footwear. I'm heading to Italy in 20 days to walk the length of it with my mom, and these are going to be my daily driver :) (half size larger to account for feet swelling). more than happy with these shoes!!!
