Key item features

  • Longer Length for Real Coverage: The 9 inch inseam brings the hem down toward the knee which is the length to choose when you want genuine coverage through the thigh at the beach
  • Attached Panty Included: This version comes with a swim panty built in so the shorts work on their own without a separate bottom underneath and stay covered when you sit or swim
  • Three Pockets Between Them: A pocket on each side plus a small pocket in the waistband gives you somewhere secure for a key or a card rather than leaving it on a towel
  • Cling-Free With All-Way Stretch: The woven fabric stretches in every direction and resists clinging so the shorts move with you and do not stick to your legs when damp
  • Everyday Summerwear: The ideal hot summer day short. Sizes range from 2-16. Plus size from 16 plus to 26 plus. Lands’ End makes measurements and proportions to fit every body.
  • Fabric provides UPF 50 sun protection; The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends this fabric as an effective UV protectant only for covered areas.

Great shorts!

I just bought 2 pairs of the 9" long board shorts to wear at the beach and the gym. I love them, the long feels very comfortable and fits closer to my waist at 5' 9". As I get older my shorts are getting longer thanks to gravity's effect on my thighs 🙄. I weigh 135 lbs and bought size 10s, which fit perfectly.

Great board shorts

I needed longer shorts to protect my legs from the sun when kayaking. These work great. The fit is slim, but the fabric has enough strength to allow movement. Just what I needed!

This is a great short, ocean swim/walk

Deep large pockets OK they don't snapshot but they're still fabulous. The right kind of fit. I like the panties underneath the shorts they come down I'm 58 and 150 pounds they come just above the knee lots of room and a maneuver in the ocean, I thought I might even wear them on my daily walks. Very comfortable
