Key item features

  • Attached Panty Included: This version comes with a swim panty built in so the shorts work on their own without a separate bottom underneath and stay covered when you sit or swim
  • Three Pockets Between Them: A pocket on each side plus a small pocket in the waistband gives you somewhere secure for a key or a card rather than leaving it on a towel
  • Cling-Free With All-Way Stretch: The woven fabric stretches in every direction and is finished to resist clinging so the shorts move with you and do not stick to your legs when damp
  • Set the Fit Yourself: A wide elastic waistband in stretchy swim fabric sits high for coverage front and back and an inner drawcord lets you tighten it exactly where you want
  • Everyday Summerwear: The ideal hot summer day short. Sizes range from 2-16. Plus size from 16 plus to 26 plus. Lands’ End makes measurements and proportions to fit every body.
  • Fabric provides UPF 50 sun protection; The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends this fabric as an effective UV protectant only for covered areas.

Comfortable swim shorts.

Last year I purchased size 8 and decided they were too big on me. For the size 6 on sale the is year and glad I did. Much better for overall. Fabric dries quickly and I love the coverage these give. Not too long, not too short for my 60+ body.

Seem to run a little big

I read another photo review where she said to size down, and I agree. I'm 5'7", 155 lbs, 42 inch hips, size chart has me at a size 12. I got both size 10 and 12 to try, and I prefer the 10. Size 12 has extra material, especially in the front. I've added pictures of both the sizes. Also the pockets are not flattering, they stick out on both sizes. Most likely going to sew them shut to see if that helps. Pictured with size M (long torso) tulip hem tankini in Paradise Teal.

Smashing Black Shorts

So well made! Wish I had purchased long ago! I wear these shorts over a bathing suit that reveals too much bottom or when I want to wear attractive and flattering shorts.
