Elegant!

We were very happy to see that the design was very elegant. So many other Murphy beds of this chest shape have exposed bolts, covered badly with wooden pegs. This unit looks like a dresser with just 2 side latches that reveal it's not just a dresser. The wood is solid, finger-jointed wood. Others are particleboard covered with laminate or veneer. The finish, however, is still fragile. We accidentally installed a longer bolt and oops, popped the finish. We're going to add some grasscloth wallpaper accents to bring in more tropical tones anyway. Finally, as others have commented, the directions are not super-clear. If the bolts were packaged separately by size, it would have been easier to figure out what goes where.
