Verified Purchase

Choices of "regular" and "bold" brew are helpful for different tastes in our household. The single serve side uses either K-cups or ground coffee. We find that we use less coffee per serving with this machine. Both sides make super hot coffee and the carafe side keeps coffee hot. It turns off automatically after 2 hours. The machine is easy to clean with household vinegar.

Second One!

This Coffee Maker has served us well for at least 5 years and probably more. It's been used every day for single brews and whole pots. Finally, though, it had some problems: First, the single brew side did not see that there was water in the reservoir and kept asking for water. Then, the pot side just stopped. So I looked at the Hamilton Beach website and bought the exact same model! We're good for another 5 years, at least!

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 8 years ago and use both options during a week's time. Brews like it did out of the box. The kcup feature is nice because you pour in and then brew, eliminating water just sitting in a reservoir. Hot plate keeps the brewed coffee steamy and features auto shutoff. Ordering one just like it for my rental.
