Very high quality, but Beware: The package instructions are unclear! There's a learning curve if all you've ever used is a traditional can opener: Use it horizontally by placing round metal wheel (on the underside) onto the outside of the lid of the can and the small round metal wheel onto the inside of the lid of the can. Begin turning the topside faucet-like handle clockwise until you feel its wheels latch onto the can. Keep turning until the opener has gone around the circle. When you believe it has been all around the top of the can, turn back a quarter turn. The opener should lift away from the can, but if it doesn't, gently turn handle both ways a few times. If the lid does not lift away magnetically connected to the can opener, then use pinchers attached to opener to lift it off. Some cans these days have paper labels attached upside down at the canning factory. Examine the ends of the can first to open it from the correct end. Another instruction error: Cleaning. Do not put it in dishwasher like it says. Do not even wash it. NEVER get the metal underside parts wet!!! The opening wheels never touch the food, so that's okay. You can wipe the plastic parts that your hands touch. Water dulls the metal parts. This is the kind of opener that doesn't leave any cut edges on the can. The lid is loosened around the outside edges of the can, until lid comes off -- and can go back on again, but not as tightly. Sometimes you will see black glue that held lid onto the can during the canning process right before the lid was machine-squeezed tight to seal the can. The glue does not touch the food, either.
