Very pretty but only 1000 watts

I am returning this kettle only because it is slower to boil than the 1500 watt kettle. It is pretty. Functional. Easy to use and set up. Absolutely nothing else wrong with it. However, the kettle I had before was 1500 watts and very fast to boil. This nice kettle seems to be so slow in comparison. Otherwise I would definitely keep it.
