Instant rice probably isn't as healthy as long grain, but my daughter eats a lot of it. She only buys this brand. I used to buy generic, but she says this one tastes better snd cooks up more consistently than others. She likes the texture of instant rice better. It isn't that much more money and you never seem to find many bad rice kernels. If you buy instant rice you know what I mean. Easy fast dinner after she works all day.
