we decided to try these tongs out. i like these better than the scissor style because they are easier to manage and more confortable to handle. the vibrant colors make them easy to see in the drawer and enjoy the 3 different sizes. wish it had come with one more smaller tong to use in olive or pickle jars. the locking feature is great so they don't take up as much room in a drawer or they can be hung up using cup hooks
