I really like this fan that I have placed in my kitchen. So it helps to keep me cool while I'm cooking. When you have it on medium or high speed, the noise levels a little bit more than what I would like, but it does the job. I like that it has a remote, and you can touch the buttons on the front of it and adjust it that way too. It also oscillates so you don't have the direct fan on you the whole time. Use the fan to move warm air around the room from behind our wood burning stove, Fan is quiet and oscillates so warm air disperses throughout the room. The remote is a bit tricky to use. It has to be in direct line with the fan shut off to activate or shut off.
