Nice looking, low loft

Nice looking bed. Took 2 people to build, across 2 evenings of working on it. Seems sturdy but very creaky when going up%26down steps. Curious how long it will last before everything starts getting loose. We chose this bed for the low profile and because it fits a full sized mattress. That being said, our 9 year old will probably outgrow it fairly quickly as he already has to duck down to get to the desk area.
