MidwayUSA Men's Safari Jacket Olive Large

After 40 years I am finally retiring my beloved Willis & Geiger safari jacket. I have had such great experiences with Midway USA over the years that I thought I would try their Safari Jacket as a replacement. I am extremely happy with this jacket as it is nearly identical in design to my Cherished Willis & Geiger one. The fabric seems like it will be durable and the stitching is accurate and well finished. As an added bonus, it has an additional cartridge slot. In addition, half the cartridge slots are designed to allow those cartridges to ride a few millimeters higher so you can easily differentiate between solids and soft points. A great bit of kit. Well done Midway USA!

This is a nice ruggedly good looking summer jacket that I've taken to wearing on my weekend hikes. It has 4 large pockets to carry my phone and other items neatly out of the way. Very light weight so it wears nicely in the heat but just heavy enough to keep out unwanted scratches from thorns and brush.
