I'm sold on this shampoo
I purchased this with no expectations, actually, and only because CaraVe is such a trusted brand. What a nice surprise I got. It's been so awfully dry this winter - lowest humidity on record at one point - my scalp has been itchy. I have fine hair; any shampoo that's listed as hydrating usually makes it oily. I was skeptical. I love everything about this shampoo. It lathers well, cleans well, smells nice without being perfume-y. I never use conditioner, and my wet hair combed easily. My scalp stopped itching with the first use, yet my hair didn't get oily faster. Hair is soft and shiny, styles well. I don't know how they pulled this off, hydrating the scalp without making the hair oily, but they did. This is a great product.
