I liked the striped curtains so much I purchased another set. The medium weight fabric is soft and drapes perfectly. They are room darkening and when I want more light in the room I adjust the vertical blinds behind the curtains without losing privacy, including at night with my indoor lights on. If you're looking for black out curtains this is not it they definitely do not black out but they are good at making the room much darker they are aligned with the material and easy to hang I think there an amazing value for what it is and they look great with my striped bed from Walmart
