Great Value Distilled White Vinegar, 32 fl oz is great to use in the washer as a fabric softener as well as to clean fresh fruit. It helps in deterring ants, but not completely. Like anything to deter some type of insect, you have to keep cleaning with it, even if nothing was dirty to begin with since ants can find the tiniest crumb that the normal eye can't even see. I have also ordered some Harris DE to help with the ants that have suddenly after 12 years of living here, appeared in my kitchen and I can't seem to get rid of them completely. I don't understand it, as I rarely even cook and the housekeeper keeps the place clean and the trash is removed on a regular basis. SO! Hopefully between the two items, I can get rid of them. In any case, I will still use it for a fabric softener.

I use this to descale my Keurig. Just put in equal parts water and vinegar on the descale mode of your machine. It works like a charm. Afterward, be sure to run several cycles of fresh water so that you don't have vinegar flavored coffee. Vinegar coffee is not a pleasant experience first thing in the morning. lol.

Excellent item to use for everything that vinegar is used for. Salad dressings, gravies, recipes. For amazing cabbage. Cook down a head of finely shredded cabbage and a shredded onion. Simmer In water till soft. Pour off water till enough to just cover the veg. Add 6 T vinegar and 2 T sugar Then s and p to taste. You'll love this.
