Great Value Distilled White Vinegar, 32 fl oz

I use this to clean my countertop ice machine. 1/3 cup added to a half full reservoir of water. I make a couple batches of ice then drain. I then repeat using just regular water. Make a few more batches of ice and drain. I usually leave the lid open to air it out and make sure the vinegar smell is gone. Once it is dry it's good to go. This helps keep mold from growing in the hard to reach places and inside the tubing and disinfects at the same time. Once every 5 full batches is how I do it and no problems. The great value white vinegar is cheap, gets the job done and lasts me a while.

Pros * Works for pickling, cleaning, marinades, and plenty of recipes. * Neutral distilled flavor makes it more versatile than flavored vinegars. Con * Its sharp acidity can be too aggressive when a recipe needs a milder vinegar. Fun Fact * Distilled white vinegar is usually made with about 5% acetic acid.
