I got it because I once had a cat with that problem and it is horrible for them, so now I feed only a high quality balanced dry food. My cat loves the taste of this and it is very filling and digestible I feed it every other day with the balance in canned food but every cat is different. He really likes the small evenly shaped pellets. It has a nice very mild smell and pours evenly. It is a good value for the price.
