A Loaf That Has Declined

If you want to see what inflation is really like in the United States, just look at this loaf of bread. In 2024 winter, one loaf of this bread at Walmart was 89 cents US. Today it is nearly $2.00 per loaf -- a 100% increase. And the quality has only actually decreased. Before the bread was actually like and could have been a Wonderbread knock-off. Today the color is a light yellow.

Great Valve White Bread

I normally don't order white bread, but I had a craving for a sandwich on white bread so I ordered me a loaf. When I tell you this bread seemed like it just came straight from the bakery. It was sooo soft, the memories from my Mom packing me my school lunch with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich was so perfect! I had me two sandwiches already today. The slices are just the right size not too thin and not too thick. I am happy with this purchase today.
