This is a quick, easy pancake mix, [value priced], that my granddaughter loves! She requests "MawMaw's pancakes" when she visits and we use cookie cutters to cut them into special shapes. She will sometimes eat them with syrup and other times, just pick them up and eat them as "cookies." They're "special" to her and therefore, that makes this pancake mix very special to me......

easy to make, decent quality, good value

My husband loves pancakes but can't cook so I buy this for him to make when I cannot and he makes it easily on his own. It's obviously no substitution for homemade but for a water and powder mix it's pretty great and the Walmart version doesn't taste any different than the more expense "just add water" versions.

Try it this way

Sometimes I am not in the mood for pancakes, I grease an 8 inch round pan with butter or margarine, and dump a can of pie filling. Then I make the batter, putting a tblsp of cinnamon, 1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg and 2 or 3 packets of stevia sugar with the pwdered pancake batter, stir to combine. Pour either water or oat milk until you have a pourable batter but not too thick. Pour over apple pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees until your cake taster comes out clean. I eyeball it all the time. It comes out good, I like it.
