RAGU Old World Style Traditional Spaghetti Pasta Sauce, 45 oz

As an Italian, as a child I never had sauce poured from a bottle. My mother made sauce by peeling tomatoes, mashing them and cooking them down to just the right consistency. And that was only the first step of many. As a full time employee and wife, that was just too much trouble. So, I gave bottled sauce a try. I started out with the cheapest one and it lived up to its name. Never again. I graduated week by week til I was to the point of buying a name brand. Oh, gosh. The price. But sometimes you just gotta do what 'cha you gotta do. I don't remember what I started with but I know what I ended with. Ragu tasted homemade. I was done with my search. I wasted a lot of money along the way but finally realized you get what you pay for. Should they ever go out of business, I'll be taking a step back and something far less yummy than Ragu, I don't even what to think about the price!!

Kick it up I thought it was very good as is, but just needed something I added garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Tasted as I cooked the sauce and added to left overs with pasta or rice with broccoli or spinach Pass on the fork and use a spoon Enjiy
