Purchased this for a small playroom/multipurpose room hoping any spills won't show! I purchased a 1/4” inch pad to put under it and realize now that a 1/2” pad would feel more luxurious. But, with the 1/4” pad my little vacuum cleaner can navigate the edges. Not sure if a 1/2” pad plus rug would be too high for the robot vacuum cleaner to climb into over. The colors are nice. Shipping experience was great! I was notified when it would arrive and it came wrapped in thick plastic so even though it was raining, the rug was totally protected! Excellent experience!

Buy the tinniest pad you can find, but beware of fake latex, as these pads can damage your wood floors. --Stay away from those cheap "washable" rugs (which are no more than a thick piece of fabric). For this affordable price, instead buy a wool rug %26 get the extra insulation which will save on your home's energy consumption.
