Incredible sub at a great price

The SB 1000 is the perfect match for my new Deckware 6 watt Zen amp. Paired with ZU Audios new Method speakers as my mains, it is a match made in heaven. The app integration is awesome and essential for my setup as with the smaller nature of the ZUs, I frequently adjust according to the genre of music. The sub is tight and integrates very well with the system. It is even in a less than ideal environment but performs well above expectation. I should also mention that I was very skeptical of even having a sub, as my lifetime system is a solid state pioneer 1280 with Jensen model 6, 4 way speakers. With that combo, it's hard to imagine a couple of small speakers and a little sub making me happy, but they sure do. You can not compare the two but both are awesome in their own right. The pioneer is a great large room/house system, where the Deckware/ZU/SVS combo makes an insane, accurate, intimate listening environment. BUT when you do get on the volume, it still does deliver beyond the room! I almost never raise the SVS past 50%. It is that powerful. Well done SVS, you have made me a believer!

Just what I wanted

I've spent a lot of time investigating subwoofers and I never had a sub outside of cheap multimedia speakers and I was worried how it will impact the sound of my Wharfedale EVO-s... Turns out my fear wasn't justified and SVS knows its business - I received audiophile grade sub which is easy to tune to your liking._x000D_ _x000D_ It has power if you need it to rumble, but it can also blend in and complement your speakers just fine. I am still breaking them in and can't wait for those "free" decibels to kick in._x000D_ _x000D_ Finally, app is dead easy to use and really lets you nail the sound to your liking. I only wish it had more profile slots.

Nice Cubes

I received my second SB-1000 Pro today. Both subs are connected to my Yamaha RX-V683 via the subwoofer outputs. One sub is the in front corner, the new sub is in the back corner. I set both subs in the SVS app to default settings then lowered the gain on the subs to -15 dB. I ran YPAO, which set the sub level in the AVR to -3.5 dB. The bass is now excellent in both depth and output. I love the sound from the default SVS app settings for both music and movies. I was probably 90% satisfied with one sub, but I had a few nulls which the second sub has now balanced. Now I'm 100% satisfied.
