Great Sharpener, just don't understand the charger plug. it may be for recharg batteries, but I Have not understood that part of the sharpener and no information in package. however, it sharpens pencils very nicely with two batteries, purchased separately! I would buy it again.

I was hesitant on ordering this pencil sharpener. The price point was perfect and people have made comments that the USB cord is too short. There's no reason why you would need to utilize the USB since it takes two AA batteries. Batteries don't wear out that quickly so I'm happy with the purchase.

I had an old electric pencil opener for many years and it finally gave up the ghost. It literally died on me. This sharpener uses a USB port to do the electric thing so that is different. It sharpens pencils great and the size is great for me. Recommend it for lighter use at home or a very small office.
