KILZ Over Armor Wood & Concrete Coatings offers an innovative, waterproofing solid color coating that brings old, weathered wood or concrete back to life with an advanced and durable 100% acrylic resin surface. This solid color coating bridges cracks, hides imperfections, and gives a uniform look to old, weathered wood and concrete. Use on weathered or cracked horizontal or vertical wood and composite surfaces such as decks, porches and boat docks, or railings as well as concrete surfaces like pool decks, patios and sidewalks. Over Armor is designed to conceal splinters and cracks up to 1/4-inch and creates a textured slip-resistant finish. Covers approximately 75 square feet per gallon. Not for drivable surfaces such as garage floors or driveways. All surfaces must be clean, sound, dry and free of any dirt, oil, and grease before application. Two (2) coats are required for optimal durability. Brush, roll, or spray on. Wait 4-6 hours before recoating and 72 hours for full cure. Available in Smooth and Textured finishes and in three ready to use colors: Chocolate, Redwood and Slate Gray.

Would use this again in a heartbeat!

This covered over the weathered wood of a wheelchair ramp like a champ! The rollers didn't work as well so you will have to buy paintbrushes but after power washing first this filled in all the crevices and cracks beautifully! Saved thousands redoing the old wood that just looked bad was not bad itself!

Thick texture with great covered damaged wood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used KILZ Over Armor Textured to seal a wood post in my garage that had some termite damage, and honestly it worked better than I expected. The texture is thick, so it covered the damaged area really well and made the surface look much more even. What I like most is that after about a year, the sealed area is still in good shape, no peeling, no cracking, and it still feels solid. It definitely helped protect the old wood instead of having to replace it. The only small downside is that because it's thick, you have to apply it slowly and evenly, and drying takes a little longer than regular paint. The smell is also a bit strong while using it, so I recommend you wear a mask. Price-wise, it's a little more expensive than regular wood coating, but for the durability and protection, I think it's worth it.
