Pleasantly surprised

I often buy cosmetics based on reviews and I noticed this brightener is rated lower however I decided to give it a go because Maybelline is my favorite drug store brand for base products and I like conviniance of a stick concealer... I love it ! It made my skin look very smooth and brightened. I have dry skin but few blemishes so I just need something to even out and brighten. This did the job beautifully. Very natural looking. I wouldn't use this to cover blemishes though, I think the negative reviewers bought this without understanding what it's purpouses are.
