Front zip pockets has a key ring clip to keep keys attached to bag preventing them from slipping out of your bag. Back pocket perfect for cell phone or similar sized media device. In case you are wondering, this pack will not fit a full sized iPad. This bag keeps my pockets free while still making it easy to access what I need. Water does bead off of the material, so it should be good in rain. Make sure your bag zippers are fully zipped though.
