My family and I LOVED these jumps ropes!! Since being in quarantine we are all home and have a lot more free time so I purchased 2 of these to play double dutch. They are good quality jump ropes and the beads help them a lot, they aren't flimsy. I recommend!!

easy for beginning jumpers

I purchased three different styles of jump ropes to preview before purchasing additional ropes for gym for elementary children. The segmented skip rope was the easiest to use for novice jumpers. The sound of it hitting the floor or pavement is a helpful timing cue, and the cord does not get tangled readily. The other two ropes I tried were purchased from Walmart, produced by Spectrum. The Spectrum speed jump ropes would, I think, be useful for speed jumping by intermediate jumpers; I did not care for the spectrum nylon rope jump ropes because they did not hold their open shape unless turned fairly fast. This review is for the 8' segmented rope; the other lengths of segmented rope that I tested (7', 16') also worked fine.

This is exactly what my 5 year old needed. She had a 7-foot rope that was too long. She lives this jump rope and is having a lot of fun with it. For reference, she is 48 inches tall, and this rope is exactly the right length for her.
