Got exactly what I needed to replace my older DVD all region player. Tried my foreign DVDs and they played . Japan , European , and North American region DVD s played.. Using a HDMI attachment I had ( was not provided in package) gave a much better picture .

I got it but the tray doesn't open so I can't use it unless I want to try to fix it. Which i don't

i can't review the seller accurately as i do not understand the way technology is advancing in the dumbest of ways. SINCE WHEN do dvds need to have a specific thing to be played? I ordered a set of dvds that have to have a specific dvd player to be played so i get it and yet those are the only dvds that will play in this specific player. i still have to use another dvd player for the rest of my movies. its rediculous.
