Food and OTC Benefits

To create a Walmart.com account, follow these five quick steps:

• Select the Account button in the upper-right corner of Walmart.com

• Click Sign in or create account

• Enter your email address. If there’s an existing account, you’ll be prompted to enter or reset your password. Click Continue.

• Fill in your first name, last name, and phone number. Then create a password. Click Continue.

Once verified, your account is created and you’ll be logged into Walmart.com!

You can create a Walmart.com account and add your OTC Benefits card to your wallet or enter your OTC Benefits card as a payment method during check-out.

For balance inquiries you can, log into your provider’s app or call the number on the back of your OTC Network card.

If your card is saved to your Walmart.com account, the usable balance may reflect in your Wallet.

If your total is more than your available/remaining benefits on your OTC Benefits, you will need to pay the balance due out of pocket with another payment method. If checking out on Walmart.com or on the Walmart app, the remaining balance that is not covered by your benefit card will come from your Default card. To use a different card for payment, click "Edit Payment" during checkout. If checking out at a Walmart store, you can use any payment type for the remaining balance.

The returned item purchase will be refunded to your OTC Benefits card within 3-5 business days of receipt of the return.

1. Add your card to your Walmart account.

2. As you shop, look for the green checkmark icon found under the item details and when clicking on the item for more details.

3. Use the “Benefit Programs” filter to the top right of your search page, then select your program to view program eligible items only.  

4. When checking out, the funds on your OTC Benefits card will be added to the eligible items in your cart. Any items not eligible will be paid by your default card on your Walmart account.  

Eligibility is determined by your card provider. Further questions should be directed to the number on the back of your OTC card.

Coverage of shipping/pickup fees varies by program. If your program covers shipping, this will be automatically reflected during checkout. Scheduled delivery from a local store (including express) may be paid for with a separate payment method. Walmart+ memberships will cover some of these fees. Terms apply.
